For founders · the overlooked

If the market underestimated you, start here.

We back founders raising a seed extension or Series A and stay in the work — a board seat, reserved follow-on capital, and the Co-Pilot program to help you raise the next round.

58%

of our portfolio is on track for Series A with Co-Pilot — roughly twice the ~25% Carta benchmark.

Why Reinventure · the overlooked advantage

The market misprices you. We don’t — and we back you like it.

Being overlooked isn’t a weakness in your company — it’s a pricing error in the market you’re raising from. We built a firm to arbitrage exactly that error, on your side of the table.

We read you accurately

Conventional capital systematically undervalues founders like you — a cost you’ve been quietly paying in terms and time. Our 40-year track record shows this talent outperforms, so our conviction comes faster and our terms are fairer.

We back it with more than a check

The wire is the start. You get a board partner, follow-on capital reserved to lead your next round, and Co-Pilot to help you raise it — operating leverage most funds can’t offer this segment.

A returns bet, not a favor

We invest here because it’s the best-performing, most-overlooked segment of the market — not as a concession. You’re underwritten on the numbers and treated like it, with no code-switching required.

What we look for

The Discipline in the Middle, four ways.

01

Seed extension or Series A

The stage where you’re scaling and conventional venture hesitates — that’s where we enter.

02

A demonstrable path to profitability

Not necessarily profitable today — but a credible, disciplined route there.

03

Led by seasoned, overlooked founders

Companies led and controlled by Black, Indigenous, people of color, and women founders — typically with 20+ years of experience before founding.

04

Capital-efficient, anywhere

We invest across the US, and put a premium on founders building far from the coastal venture hubs.

The Co-Pilot program · built with our founders

Fundraising is the hardest thing you’ll do. We do it with you.

Co-Pilot didn’t come from a whiteboard. Our Fund I founders told us — again and again — that fundraising was their hardest challenge, consuming up to 80% of their time. So we built the program around that need and designed it with them, refining each step with the founders who’d run it. A focused two-month preparation followed by hands-on deal support — now part of Fund II from day one.
