We are so pleased to welcome Itzel Moncada, our newest team member and investment professional who joins us as an Associate. Delightfully atypical in many ways, Itzel’s Mexican roots and Spanish as a first language are augmented by a MBA from the University of San Diego, and M&A, private equity and venture capital work experience — further diversifying and adding more stature to our small but mighty team. The expertise she brings in exploring investment opportunities in life sciences, fintech and emerging technologies will only serve to expand our reach in the service of BIPOC and women founders, our investors and our society as a whole. As a LatinxVC Fellow, she is passionate about creating a more inclusive startup ecosystem for both founders and funders and brings this dedication to her role.
